So this is the first post, is it? Well, in this blog, I plan to graciously give my opinion about weekly happenings in the world and in my life. I don't plan to center around simply one topic, but open up my rants to a variety of subjects. I'll make these posts once a week, preferably on Wednesdays. I'll try to stay as consistant as possible. So, to start things off, let's talk about Ke$ha. This girl has GOT to be the trashiest chick I've ever seen. Seriously, the majority of her songs are about going out and getting smashed. Come on, sweetie, sing something of substance. I swear, if I hear somebody say "Do you want to have a slumber party in my basement???" I'll blow a cork.Her music may be fun to dance to in a club where all you can hear is the bassline, but on the radio, it's a bit much.
Next is Miley Cyrus. Or rather, the constant barrage of online coverage of her. Ok, she has a show on Disney Channel, she sings, she dances, and she has a famous father. Great. I think that's really it about her. I mean seriously, why do we still care about her? She's the same girl she was when she started her career, she just went through puberty. She's not particularly scandalous, so why does everyone keep trying to find something to hate about her? I mean, i dislike her as much as the next person, but we don't need to keep digging for controversy in her life. I'm sure Billy Ray will do everything his Achey Breaky heart can to keep her on the straight and narrow. But she does sound like a 40 year-old chainsmoker.
